  • At Transcribe Medical, we understand the
    importance of The Health Insurance
    Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) .
    All work is transferred and handled through
    secure transmissions.

  • All transcriptionists and administrators
    having access to sensitive material have
    entered into a confidentiality contract, and
    will adhere to strict standards or are subject
    to immediate dismissal if found in violation of
    such conduct.

  • The method of records destruction is as
    important as the storage and retention
    measures, particularly in regards to patient
    health information. All hard copy documents
    are shredded prior to disposal providing
    HIPAA-compliant measures.  

  • A strict policy of ours is that all work
    performed through this business on behalf of
    our clients is solely performed within the
    United States.  No work will ever be out-
    sourced overseas.
